Here’s IBM Latest News, IBM is offering an advanced level course in Data Science for free. There are 4 courses in the specialization. To earn a certificate Candidates have to complete all 4 courses.
In partnership with Coursera has rolled out these courses. It promises to offer a deep understanding of massive parallel data processing, data exploration, visualization, and advanced machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL). The candidates will understand the mathematical foundation behind all Machine Learning and Deep Learning algorithms. Towards the end of the course, you will be able to apply this knowledge in practical use cases. The curriculum is designed for candidates with few years of experience in IT. The specialization consists of the following 4 courses:
Fundamentals of Scalable Data Science
For large scale data processing IBM uses Apache Spark. In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of Apache Spark using Python and Pyspark. Completing this course is crucial to learn the scalable data science platform. It introduces Apache Spark in the first two weeks. Candidates can learn how to apply it to compute basic exploratory and data pre-processing tasks.
Applied AI with DeepLearning
Applied AI with the DeepLearning course helps you understand Deep Learning models used by experts in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Time Series Analysis, and many other disciplines. It introduces the fundamentals of Linear Algebra and Neural Networks. The DeepLearning frameworks covered in this course are Keras, PyTorch, TensorFlow, DeepLearning4J, and Apache SystemML.
Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing
Advanced Machine Learning and Signal Processing course offer insights into supervised and unsupervised machine learning models used by experts in many relevant fields. The candidates will learn about the fundamentals of Linear Algebra to understand how ML models work. The course introduces the most popular ML frameworks for python Scikit-Learn and SparkML.
